Kids Apres Ski Style
Every year the kids and I travel to Poland for the holidays. Although we all look forward to this trip, preparation is not easy. Weeks leading up to our departure, I spend hours gathering everything we will need for the two weeks. Luckily years of practice has educated me on what to pack and what not to pack. Not only do I pack for myself and the kiddos, I also bring holiday gifts for friends and family. As you can imagine, the end result is me and two energetic kids at the airport with six large suitcases and a 10 hour flight ahead of us (as if traveling with kids wasn't stressful enough).
This year, I was fully prepared. Or so I thought. Upon arriving to the airport, Nadia turned to me and asked where her and Enzo’s winter jackets were. With little time to process this misstep, we jumped back into the car and went home to grab them. Miraculously, we made it back in time for our flight.
Despite the jacket fiasco, the kids had everything they needed for this trip. I have compiled a list of kid’s winter apparel to lessen the stress (hopefully) for other parents struggling with what and where to buy for the season.
Down Jackets
Bloomingdales | Perfect Moment | Lapin House USA
Snow Pants
Patagonia | The North Face | Columbia
Packing for a family trip can be exhausting, but it does not have to be. Hopefully, this list helps with the stress so you and your family can focus on the fun times ahead.
