Naturally January

Makeup has never been a priority for me. I tend to buy the same products and once I trust them, I stick to them. I realized that it is not because I don’t have interest in the beauty industry, I just don’t want to invest in products that I will find disappointing. I travel a lot with my girl friends and that’s how I usually learn about the newest goodies or trends in the beauty industry. My makeup artist Suky has also been a phenomenal resource for me.

Here are my top picks for January:

1. Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter– This liquid tinted complexion booster is a staple in my daily routine and gives me a youthful glow.  I like to use the medium shade for my skin tone. The best part is, it can be used as a primer, highlighter, or mixed with your foundation for a dewy finish. Perfect to use for the day ahead or a night out with friends! 

2. Beautycounter Dew Skin Tinted Moisturizer– This moisturizer is a steal for just $45! It not only provides SPF 20 protection, but it gives you sheer coverage and light hydration. I like to apply this on my face for smoother-looking skin and to feel refreshed.

3. Ilia Limitless Lash Mascara– This is my favorite “clean” mascara, if you are conscious about clean beauty. It does the job by adding both volume and length. I love wearing it to work because it stays put throughout the day, and I am able to remove it easily at night! 

4. Natasha Denona Mini Glam Eyeshadow Palette– I found out about this line from my make up artist, @sukyvmakeup. It features cool-toned neutrals, golden taupes, and sparkly metallic shades. This palette is an essential for me because the neutral tones go with any outfit, and if you have blue or green eye color it really makes them pop. It is the perfect day-to-night look!

5. Dior Lip Glow Diormania– Lipstick is a girl’s best friend! This Dior product is a cult-fave. It can be used to complete any look and softens your lips. My lips leave feeling hydrated and fuller than before! 

6. The Mist Shield by Suky– This is the perfect beauty tool to enhance your look! For $20, The Mist Shield is placed around your head to prevent mist from going anywhere other than the face. I like to use this when my hair is finished, and I want to finish off my look by spraying mist! 

7. Real Techniques Blush Brush– My absolute favorite makeup brush! It is best for blending cream or powder blush, and it is 100% cruelty free. It’s soft to the touch and easy to blend. This brush has never let me down and will define your cheeks flawlessly + it’s only $9!
