Ready to Rumble: Enzo X [HY-MAY] Bedroom Design

Enzo’s zest for life and music, Marshmello in particular, was the driving force behind our design decision for his room. It’s not always easy incorporating your child’s interests into a space but this oversized comforter from Society 6 was the perfect solution…it is ideal for snuggling!

It was important to us to make Enzo’s room feel spacious and this rug from Burke Decor did the trick. Enzo thought that it looked like his Vans.

The introduction of color into our home continued its way into Enzo’s room, specifically with the mustard and white checkered Crosley record player, exclusive to "Urban Outfitters,”. He loves collecting records and playing music for his friends.

Storage is important in any room, especially in one of a young boy who has a whole gallery of vinyl toys. [HY-MAY] found a smart way to incorporate storage without making the room feel cluttered. The Brimnes storage bed frame and headboard from Ikea includes a number of sleek drawers and shelves on all sides.

Instead of hanging art we decided to display vintage boxing gloves that we found on Etsy, collectable Rotofugi toys and his favorite backpack from the artist Jc Rivera.

Enzo’s room is a representation of his personality, humor and interests. [HY-MAY]’s resourcefulness has no end and allowed Enzo’s ideas come to life.

Needless to say, Enzo is jumping for joy!
