What is VIVACE MICRONEEDLING?
Let’s face it! We want to look our best at any age— not over-filled and over-stretched— just natural. I want to age gracefully and beautifully, however, fine lines and wrinkles have set in. On top of that, I still struggle with acne and cystic acne. I usually go for stronger treatments that require 1-2 days of downtime. I was skeptical if a minimally-invasive treatment would work for me.
I finally had the opportunity to try Vivace at Leah Chavie Skincare Boutique Spa in Lincoln Park and I can't stop raving about it!
Vivace is the newest generation of radio frequency microneedling. The results are immediate, which is great to see right after the treatment. My skin was slightly red for about an hour. Two hours post treatment, I attended a meeting, looking completely normal. No one noticed I had anything done.
During the treatment, I felt slight discomfort because I didn't use any numbing cream— my pain tolerance is high and Leah already knows that. If you are new to Leah's spa, she begins with a skin consultation to learn your preferences and past treatment history.
Here is why I love Vivace:
- The treatment itself takes 20 minutes tops, which doesn't make me feel guilty to take "self-care time"
- Natural collagen is produced using microneedling and radio-frequency
- It contours and tightens the skin
- It opens the pores to easily hydrate & moisturize to get that “glow” (it's all about the glow for me!)
- Alleviates fine lines and wrinkles
- Improves acne scarring, which is extremely important to me as I have deep scarring from previous years (especially on my cheeks)
- Virtually no downtime
This is how Vivace penetrates your skin:
When applied to the skin, under topical anesthesia (or not) , sterile microneedles are used to create many microscopic channels deep into the dermis of the skin that can stay open up to four to six hours. This stimulates the body to produce new collagen. The precise delivery of RF energy to 31 varying depths of penetration gives Vivace exceptional outcomes.
My skin heals and regenerates fast, but I have never seen faster results with my scarring and skin discoloration! This is what got me addicted to VIVACE! The effects of the treatment continue to increase overtime. It feels like a gift that keeps on giving! Plus, you know that you are doing something right when your friends comment on your skin.
It is an expensive treatment. It costs $500 per visit, and Leah suggests doing it once a month. My skin scarring requires more treatments so I have been going every 3rd week.
Leah is offering a special 3 treatments for $1,000, and if you’re interested in a Vivace treatment with Leah use code MD15 for an extra 15% off.
