The IT Bag– and why you need it.

The newly appointed Bottega Veneta’s Creative Director Daniel Lee has reinvented the Bottega Veneta game.

Although only 32 years old, Lee is beyond his years when it comes to his knowledge of fashion. The humble Brit’s vision for the Bottega brand idolizes the idea of true luxury that is missing from today’s culture. He creates designs exuding timeless elegance and a quiet confidence, which is the complete opposite to the noise all around us. The Pouch bag is an accessory modern women cannot seem to get enough of. Popping up across Instagram more and more each day, The Pouch is unofficially the handbag of the Fall season– unfortunately, it’s almost impossible to find! I was lucky enough to rent one from Janet Mandell Showroom in Chicago, and I will definitely be adding it to my Santa’s wish list. 

The bag itself is roomy and fits right under your arm, making it comfortable to carry. The sleek and simple design is timeless, and the perfect piece to save and give to your daughter one day (I love finding unique pieces I can pass down to Nadia).

We styled the bag with an all-beige sweater and midi skirt combination, and layered with a wool coat.
